The Janson Family

Our Winery has been a family busines for 6 generations.  For the last 15 years, Schloss Janson  has been led by Kurt and Sarah Janson who met in 2001 during a summer internship on Long Island, New York  – Sarah’s home town. Our  three children – who live with us on the estate – like to make their presence known and can often be seen and heard throughout the property.Kurt’s parents – Kurt Sr. and Annesuse Janson -have stepped back and are currently enjoying  the benefits of a  “supporting” role after their decades of hard work and vision which have laid the foundation for the winery’s current success.
